Nuestra Rumba is a lively rumba flamenca perfectly suited to introduce the sound of Gypsy Cat. The main theme is based on traditional flamenco rhythms and harmonic progressions , while the the guitar solo derives it's melody from the Gypsy Cat album's final track "Alas de Seda". The soprano sax solo evokes the sound of modern jazz, while the percussive sound of flamenco footwork highlights the piece's folkloric origin.
